Adding media

Princeton’s WordPress limits  uploads of image, video or audio files to 5MB.

It’s easy to find images that are correctly sized for the web (PhotoShop has a “save for web and devices option you can use to make sure your image doesn’t have any unnecessary data, and is saved at the correct resolution), but audio and video files can be very large. You can save space in your WordPress media library by linking to large files, and only uploading small ones. If you make a video or audio file and would rather link to it than upload it, you can use your WebSpace storage space to store that file, and set its permissions to “public.”

The first button is for all media types, the second is for forms.

The Upload/Insert button for media is just above the text editing box for a page or post.
