EIN News launches online news aggregation service focused on auto sector - 25 May 2007

Internet data mining and search services provider Internet Product Development Group, Inc. (IPD Group), US, has announced the launch of the Automotive Industry Today news service (, expanding its EIN News portfolio of media monitoring sites. A free trial period is offered, however, this is a subscription service. IPD Group provides niche industries-focused Internet data mining and searching tools to corporations, institutions and professionals. The company’s media monitoring and newsletter services are designed as alternatives to high cost services such as Lexis-Nexis. (Princeton subscribes to L-N as well as Factiva. Indexing thousands of articles from more than 35,000 news sources and news sections, Automotive Industry Today provides up-to-the-minute information available on the web on the car industry. It provides breaking news on new technologies, alternative fuels, parts and accessories as well as major car manufacturers such as General Motors, Toyota, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Renault, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Ford.
