Image Search now available at Science.gov

Image Searching is now available at Science.gov, allowing easy searching of the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) Library of Images from the Environment (LIFE), the NASA Image eXchange (NIX), and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Photo Library. Scientific images and graphs including plants, animals, space, the Earth, and weather can be quickly searched from one search box.

Science.gov says that more image libraries will be added in the coming months, so check back periodically.

As with all images on the internet, check the website or with the responsible agency for copyright restrictions before using an image from Science.gov and be sure to always acknowledge the source of the image.
