We’re excited to announce our 3-part JGAP learning series for this spring semester! Taught by the one-and-only amazing Rabbi Sara Rich, we’ll be looking at “Hot Topics in Judaism,” and hope you all will come enjoy dinner with us and join the discussions! We’ll be meeting at Panera at 7:15pm for dinner, and class will begin promptly at 7:45pm, so please try and make it by 7:15pm if you’re planning on joining us for dinner. *Dinner is free* (paid for by the Princeton CJL)!

The theme of our first session is religious pluralism in Israel. Who determines issues of religious status in Israel? How does this affect Israeli citizens and Jews in the diaspora? How did things get this way, and in what ways is this system likely to change in the future?

As with all of our events, all JGAPers are welcome, regardless of religious or political views. All of our classes in the past have been a huge hit, and we expect this year’s series to be no exception. Feel free to attend one or all of the classes (they are not dependent on each other). If you have any questions, comments, or requests, please email jgap@princeton.edu.
