Internships: Help

Even with all of the information presented here, it's always helpful to have somewhere to get more help. There are many common questions, many of which are answered on the Office of Career Services Frequently Asked Questions page. If you are seeking career advice, you have several options available to you.

Career counseling. The Office of Career Services provides counseling services. Their staff has experience. You can make an appointment or use their walk-in hours. See the appointments page for details.

Attend Career Services events.The Office of Career Services, in conjunction with the School of Engineering and Applied Science, has developed a calendar of programs, workshops, and special events to help you prepare and navigate the search process. Be sure to check the calendar of events to get some help with your resume, preparing for an interview, any other topics of use as you search for an internship or a job.

Connect with alumni. The Alumni Careers Network is a database of alumni who have volunteerd to provide advice on particular career fields, graduate school, and other career options. As a student, you can access this network and using the phrase "I'm a student at Princeton University", will typically open the door to their valuable expertise.

Contact the Center for Innovation in Engineering Education. While not trained in career counseling, the Associate Director for External Affairs, Bob Monsour, has 20 years of technology industry experience and is prepared to listen to your questions and provide guidance based on his experience.
