Tiger of the Week: Susan Mango *90
Tucked away between Alexander Road and the Springdale golf course sits a small organic garden cultivated by Ruthie Schwab ’09 and Stephanie Hill ’10, coordinators of the Garden Project. Started last year on a 12-by-55 foot plot of land south of Forbes College, the project has blossomed after moving to its current location, a 1.5-acre lot near the Forbes master’s house.
Keeping the beat

I love the garden. Pretty soon everyone is going to need a garden just to survive what they do to our food supply. They should work on quantity the plant produces not tying to make if impervious to bugs. We need bugs to keep the balance of nature.
