to everyone who commented on my last entry: i really appreciate the support.

i realized after i posted that those few lines sounded quite a bit like a rant. boy did that come out poorly. i thought the whole incident was hilarious, and my tongue was firmly planted in the cheek region when i told them to blame their friends for the curriculum change.

as i said in a comment, i'm steering the course between despotism on the one hand, democracy on the other. having a ball doing it, too. i never thought i would enjoy teaching as much as i am. every day with my class is a gift.

Despotism and Democracy in the classroom are ideal companions- just a comment from the “Queen” of the classroom. Enjoy your exchanges. It is great that students feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts. I love the blogs!
