WTO Protest in Hong Kong
Just found out that I can access Ming Pao from my computer and therefore I can read Hong Kong news now! Hurray. Whats going on in Hong Kong?
The WTO is having their meeting in Hong Kong right now and there are tonnes of people protesting on the streets near Wan Chai. The Hong Kong police was prepared, however, they did not expect the South Korean farmers to swim in the Victoria Harbor and tried to reach the exihibition hall from there. Here is the picture from International
Herald Tribune (as of December 14th 2005).

In the past few years, protest has become more popular in Hong Kong. It could also be my own rise of political awareness, however, I do think that people are more concerned with politics and economic these days; particularly after the handover.

Hot Yoga
The restaurant, Luoxiu, near my office is really delicious. Since I always think that I need to eat more during lunch, my body tends to accumulate all the food inside my body afterwards. I tried going jogging with Ian. That didnt work because my heart beats too fast and I have to stop after five minutes' running. Therefore, we switched to hot yoga. Oh well, Ian's a big fan of it and its my fifth time trying it. Now we go twice a week and every single time, I feel great afterwards. E.g. slept like a rock last night.
For more information of our hot yoga center, please check out:

Of course, theres a couple of "better" yoga places in Shanghai, like Yplus, however, they are way too pricy and "classy". I am looking for a more subtle relaxed atmosphere where my body can feel comfortable with, and I think our yoga center fulfills my needs. (also for proximity reasons, we live literally 10 minutes way on foot).

My Awesome Coworkers!
I work for Corporate Development Asia at Bertelsmann, and I report directly to Holm Keller, the president of our company. Though its an awesome experience, I do work overtime sometimes and went through a lot of pressure, e.g. preparing for contract, interviewing all the teachers, etc.
I work really closely with Julia, a German intern here. She is learning Chinese, and she knows how to say "Playboy" in Chinese. I am trying to slowly lure my co-workers into hot yoga with Ian and myself.
Sometimes my office is really quiet because everyone is so concentrated, but I try to crack some jokes to entertain them.
