Chinese Hiking

I don't have a lot to say about the journey we took the final day of July, but this is Chinese hiking. It is just like hiking in America, except you walk on a concrete path and up about 2,700 stairs before getting to the top. And the view from the top is...

P1020111 (Small).JPGnot that awesome! I was expecting a breathtaking view of the entire city, but instead we saw clouds and trees. Awesome. For those interested, this mountain is called Flag Mountain.

It was definitely an interesting adventure -- all in all, it took about 3 hours and 4.5 liters of water. The whole experience seemed more like some kind of military training that is supposed to make you suffer together to make you closer. It definitely worked.

The concrete steps that lead to basically nothing... love it. We used to "hike" a "mountain" in Jishou called Fruit and Flower Mountain. 非常漂亮!
