Mario Vargas Llosa in Princeton

mario-vargas-llosa2.gifMario Var­gas Llosa, one of the most impor­tant con­tem­po­rary authors, will be spend­ing the fall semes­ter in Prince­ton. He will be teach­ing a sem­i­nar on Borges for PLAS and a cre­ative writ­ing work­shop for the Lewis Cen­ter. On Octo­ber 11, at 7:30 pm, he will give a pub­lic lec­ture in Richard­son Auditorium.

  1. Llosa should have got­ten the nobel prize in lit years ago, but bet­ter late than never! I’m sorry I missed this lec­ture, though, I would love to see him speak. We are get­ting some of his work on Get Poetic, the upcom­ing social net­work for poets and authors. It will be live in a few weeks.
