Nathalie Lagerfeld has been a great lover of art since childhood, when she created her first masterpiece on the wall of her bedroom in magic marker. Despite strong resistance from her parents, she single-mindedly continued her pursuit of an artistic career until she was about six. Then, feeling that she could never surpass her final masterpiece Stick Figure #4, she turned to other pursuits. For one, she worked pretty hard in school, ending up at beautiful Princeton University in 2005. But life before Princeton wasn’t all soulless drudgery. Nathalie also took time off from her arduous procrastination schedule to study the works of fellow artists in the museums of nearby Washington, DC, including Gare Saint-Lazare at the National Gallery. She was quickly spurred onto full Manet obsession, practicing her Victorine Meurent Icy Glare in the mirror every morning. Today, Nathalie is on the staff of the Nassau Literary Review and DJs for WPRB Princeton.
