David is a student at Princeton University as a member of the class of 2009.
Originally from California, he graduated from the Lawrenceville School in 2005. At Princeton, he plays water polo and plans to major in the Geosciences or Chemistry. He became interested in Impressionism and the Making of Modern Art through his own love of art. Though never a huge fan of Impressionism, he hoped that the course would open a new window of appreciation as it has done. He came to his topic of the Mount Sainte-Victoire series early on in the course as he very much enjoys cubism and wanted to look into what he considers some of the first cubist paintings.
Outside of the classroom he likes to spend time with his team and playing water polo (which does not involve horses in any way, shape or form) and friends while also getting time to appreciate the great outdoors fly-fishing and sailing. He’d like to thank his brothers and parents for helping him get to where he is.
