Get the most out of Word–and your computer–by taking advantage of features that ensure what you mostly do is write documents — without troubling over formatting. This session features Word tools that can assist in any kind of academic writing by taking advantage of templates, styles, and reference tools that can transform even large documents into files that can be quickly transformed into formats required by publishers, journals and the University archives.

An example of a dissertation template for Princeton will be shown, along with a preview of new features in Word 2010 that will enhance productivity for authors of many sorts of documents using new tools in Word 2010 for fonts, photos, styles, and layout tools. Handout and templates for the talk (templates based on Princeton dissertation format) can be found at bit.ly/stylesheets.
