Screencast: Changing Your Front page Layout and Theme in OpenScholar Beta 14.

We recently updated OpenScholar to Beta version 14. With this change comes a few feature changes we’ll discuss in this screencast. This screencast will show you how to change the front page layout using the Layout feature and not the Front feature and how to change your theme and the relationship between the theme and the layout and how your layout widgets get affected when you change your theme.

Screencast: RSS feeds in Google Reader and related clients with John LeMasney

In this screencast, John LeMasney explains how to use Google Reader, an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed reader, to collect, curate, and filter all of the content from your favorite academic sources. Using Google Reader as the engine, John also explains how to use some other RSS reader clients, and Gruml to manage and consume these feeds.
