English: This icon, known as the "feed icon" or the "RSS icon", was introduced in Mozilla Firefox in order to indicate a web feed was present on a particular web page that could be used in conjunction with the Live bookmarks function. Untapped Potential in Use of Facebook and Twitter on College Campus

An article I found on eSchool News titled "Survey shows untapped potential for campus IT", discusses how survey results showed that 90% of students use social network sites like Facebook and Twitter, but only 28% of students have used these services in class. It also discusses the break down of what hardware (computers) students are bringing to college and what services (like mobile services) students are using on campus. Becta’s Report: Analysis of emerging trends affecting the use of technology in education (April 2009)

the Harnessing Technology strategy. The research covers the education
and training system as a whole; children’s services; schools; further
education, skills and regeneration (FESR); and higher education (HE).

publication is a consolidation of work carried out to identify and
analyse the major trends relating to each area of the Harnessing
Technology research programme. This report presents an overview of the
