Requesting Material FAQ

May I request material in advance? Yes, readers may submit requests at any time after completing the online registration form.  On-site material, however, will not be paged in advance.

How many items may I request? There are no limits on the number of items you may request in your account.

How can I request material? Researchers can request to view items in the reading room through SearchIt@Princeton, the Main Catalog, Finding Aids, and with a manual request feature.  See: Requesting Material

Can I see a record of the items I have requested? Yes, researchers can see a record of all requested and viewed items in their Research Account.  See: Requesting Material

Can I request photocopies and digital images in through my Research Account? No, at this time, researchers must contact the library directly to request copies and digital files.
