This is the one and only instance I know of where an embedded iframe works in WordPress.
Here’s what to do:
Log into Google and make a map in “My places,” or simply get a map you like on your screen.
Use the link symbol at the top of your side navigation panel to get to a pop-up that shows the URL to your map and the HTML embed code:
Copy and paste the HTML embed code directly into your page, where you want the map to appear:
What the embed code actually says (this is an image of the text):
WordPress automatically converts it to this (another image):
And that shows up automatically as an image of your map:
If I hadn’t shown the code above as an image, the result would have been three identical maps in a row.
