2010 - Hear the Roar!

Princetonians can celebrate the New Year twice in 2010—on January 1 and again on February 14 when, according to the Chinese astrological calendar, the Year of the Tiger begins. This shadow figure from the East Asian Library’s current exhibit, Luminous Worlds, leads the way. See more figures at http://eastasianlib.princeton.edu/luminous.htm.

White as Snow, Regardless of the Weather

Undergraduates working for the Student Laundry Service waded through this mountain of washables sometime in the 1950s or ’60s. Princeton students still sort whites, lights, and darks when employed by the Student Laundry Agency; those who use the service won’t have to bring piles home to do over their holiday break.

A Real Page Turner

The third floor of 58 Prospect is now a tutoring center where Princeton students conduct sessions every weekday with youngsters who want to improve their academic skills.
