Bio
I was born in El Salvador, but grew up in South Orange, New Jersey. I graduated top of my class from NJIT with a bachelors in chemical engineering. My current research focuses on various aspects of nanoparticle drug delivery, such as the following:
• nanoparticle encapsulation of difficult drugs to formulate
• synthesis, formulation, and controlled release of prodrug combinations from nanoparticles
• folate targeting
• downstreaming of nanoparticles and reconstitution
When not working in the lab, I enjoy scenic walks and listening to music.
