Thanks for sticking around after Shabbat dinner on the past few Friday nights for our 3-part JGAP learning series with Rabbi Sara Rich: “A Jewish Look at the 2012 Presidential Elections.” Our topics were (Oct. 5) taxes and charity, (Oct. 12) the environment, and (Oct. 19) foreign policy. We read Jewish sources on these topics, and took a glance at Obama’s and Romney’s platforms to see how their views compared.

As with all of our events, all JGAPers are welcome, regardless of religious or political views. This education series has been a chance to learn more about the Jewish perspective on the big issues of this year’s election. Stay tuned for information regarding our Spring 2013 education series. If you have ideas for a JGAP class you’d be interested in taking or event suggestions in general, send us an email at jgap@princeton.edu.
