Spotify is a music service similar to Pandora, which allows you to listed to the song you want to hear, when you want to hear it.

You can embed a high-quality version of a song in your blog using Spotify’s OEmbed feature, which just involves pasting a simple URL. However, unlike the OEmbed that works with YouTube, the URL isn’t the one visible at the top of the screen when you navigate to the song you want.

You need a basic Spotify account, which is free.

Use the tools to search for the song you want:

Click on the three small dots between the album name and the length of the song:

Select the option to “Copy Spotify URL,” and paste it in your post. It’s similar to, but not identical to, the one that shows in your nav bar. You need to use the one from the drop-down menu. A player will be embedded as below:
